NaNoWriMo 2016: The Power of Sprinting.

NaNoWriMo update time!

So yesterday I was dying a little bit at NaNoWriMo, and couldn’t see myself catching up: I had a good 5000 words to write in one day.

However, I did a few sprints and managed to catch up so much more quickly! I now only have 50 words to go until I reach today’s target of 11,666 words. (I stopped myself from writing that last 50 so that I would still have to write something today, and hopefully stay ahead.)

I’m going to do my best to do some sprints today at lunchtime and am spending tonight at my partner’s mum’s waiting for The Walking Dead to come on, so I have no excuse not to sit and write all evening since I really don’t care what happens in The Walking Dead since I don’t have a clue what’s going on in that show.

Although I do want this bastard to die horribly.

I hate him more than Ramsay Bolton and I don’t even watch this show properly.

I am also so convinced that if I ever publish this thing I’m writing, then everyone’s going to accuse me of copying Harry Potter! I’m not copying, honestly, but I think it is accidentally turning into a little bit of homage. Oh well, if that’s what keeps me writing at the moment, I’ll keep channeling J. K. Rowling. I can edit out all the plagiarism later, I guess!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I also hate Negan! He’s awful and he killed Glenn! 😂 I was so upset that first episode. I’m still annoyed. I hope his death is much worse than the Governor. Nice post! I’m also a writer. I need to check out NaNoWriMo at some point. Happy reading and writing. 🙂

  2. I love Walking Dead, but there’s nothing to miss this season so far except for what happened in the first episode. Negan is atrocious. I can’t wait for me to be off the show.
    Good luck on NaNoWriMo!
