I hate March. I’ve always hated March. It’s so long, it’s still got horrible weather even though it’s meant to be Spring and the new year’s resolutions have been well and truly abandoned. (Although actually I’ve been doing quite well with giving up wine.)
This year, I have another reason to hate March. I’ve not found a single great book this month!
I read The Taming of the Queen by Philippa Gregory at the beginning of the month and it’s left me with an extended book hangover. Ever since, I’ve not known what it is I want to read next. I’ve tried 3 different books – Carry On, The Case of the Imaginary Detective and The Ballroom and given up on all of them.
I just thought I’d share my frustration with you! Any suggestions on how to get out of this slump? I’m rereading a book instead until I find something new I’m excited about.
